ShoreView Industries and Vista Private Equity Group are pleased to announce the successful sale of Hamilton Group to Corinthian Capital
ShoreView and Vista partnered with Hamilton through a management buyout transaction in March 2006. The founder of the business was approaching retirement and seeking a liquidity event after a period of significant growth, and management was seeking a strong financial partner going forward. ShoreView and Vista structured a transaction that:
- Provided liquidity to the founder and a transition plan for the business
- Allowed management to take a meaningful ownership position.
The results of this partnership were excellent as ShoreView and Vista worked with Hamilton to complete two complimentary add-on acquisitions, open offices in India and Brazil, and add depth to the management team. As a result, revenue and earnings increased significantly during ShoreView and Vista’s ownership period.
