Inc. Magazine Recognizes ShoreView as a Top 50 Founder-Friendly Private Equity Firm
Shoreview is honored to have been recently recognized as one of the “Top 50 Founder-Friendly Private Equity Firms”, by Inc. Magazine. Inc.’s inaugural founder-friendly list highlights ShoreView as a group that has a successful track record of backing entrepreneurs.
Inc. formed the list based on firms with a history of investing in founder-led businesses, data gathered on portfolio companies’ performance, and direct discussions with entrepreneurs on their experiences with private equity partners.
Investing in family and entrepreneurial-owned businesses has been the core strategy of ShoreView since inception. ShoreView tailors each investment to meet the objectives of the business owners and as a partner, supports management’s efforts from the board level.
Founded in 2002, ShoreView is a Minneapolis-based private equity firm that has raised over $1.3 billion of committed capital across four funds. ShoreView partners with family or entrepreneurial-owned companies across many sectors, including engineered products, distribution, industrial services, business services, healthcare, and niche consumer products. Shoreview structures a variety of acquisition, recapitalization and build-up transactions, typically in businesses with revenues ranging between $20 million and $300 million.
